Lead Routing In My CRM

This article provides information that is useful to ensure the leads that are coming into your CRM from Convergence hit the appropriate lead assignment rules you have built.

General Information:

The standard that is used within the Automotive landscape for ingesting information into a dealership CRM is ADF XML. While there are many automotive CRMs to choose from, each CRM has been built to ingest a version of the ADF XML standardization with subtle differences between them.  During onboarding, you will want to ensure that you have the proper lead assignment rules built, which take into account the settings wthin your CRM. When building these rules, please keep in mind that Convergence sends the following information into your CRM:

  1. Appointments - This should not be confused with a "lead". These are people who have already been in communication with a representative from our team and have indicated they are interested in coming into the dealership and speaking with a representative. These appointments will enter with the subject line: "A New Manager Escalation For {customer_first_name} {customer_last_name}.

  2. Profile Action Alerts/Escalations - These are notifications that have been sent in by a member of our team. They are indicative of further action that needs to be taken by a representative at your dealership. These are not to be confused with "leads" or "appointments". These PAAs will enter with the subject line: "A {appointment_type} Appointment For {customer_first_name} {customer_last_name}If your dealership would prefer to avoid sending PAAs into the CRM and solely direct them to individual email addresses, this can be accomplished.
